Privacy Policy
Effective: May 19, 2026
This policy explains what information Alutic collects when you visit alutic.co or buy our products, how we use it, and the choices you have. Alutic is operated by [Legal entity name], [mailing address]. Questions: team@alutic.ai.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you create an account we store your email address and a hashed password through our auth provider, Supabase.
- Order & payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number. Stripe shares the order email, billing/shipping details and a Stripe customer identifier with us so we can fulfill and support your order.
- Communications. If you email us or subscribe to The Journal, we keep that correspondence and your email preferences.
- Site usage. Like most sites we receive standard log data (IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring URL, timestamps), and we use cookies and similar technologies for advertising measurement (see below).
How we use it
- To process orders, ship products and manage subscriptions.
- To send transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping updates, account / sign-in messages).
- To send The Journal, only if you opt in. You can unsubscribe from any issue.
- To measure and improve our advertising and the site, including conversion measurement and audience building on advertising platforms.
- For security, fraud prevention and to comply with law.
Cookies and advertising
We use the Reddit Pixel to measure the performance of our Reddit ads (which campaigns lead to visits and purchases) and to build audiences for future ads. The pixel uses cookies and similar identifiers and may associate browsing on our site with your Reddit activity according to Reddit’s privacy policy. You can manage Reddit ad personalization in your Reddit account settings, and you can disable cookies in your browser.
We also use cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work (for example, to keep you signed in and to remember your cart).
